Kristina will be opening her own garden at 4 Waterworks Cottages in Brede again this year on Saturday 7th June, 10.30 am - 4 pm, as part of the 'Waterworks and Friends Group' for the National Garden Scheme.
Kristina's wildlife friendly garden is packed full of unusual plants. Garden features include perennial wildflower meadow with a pond, a hot fire circle, wisteria clad pergola, plentiful borders, plus a productive vegetable garden and fruit cage.
Also open is the garden at Sculdown in Broad Oak where there is a very large wildlife pond formed as a result of iron-ore mining over 100 yrs ago. The stunning traditional cottage provides a superb backdrop for several colourful herbaceous borders and poplar trees.
Refreshments will be served by volunteers from St Georges Church, Brede at Sculdown. Plant sales by Rotherview Nursery are at 4 Waterworks Cottages.
£6 per adult combined entry to both gardens, children free, dogs allowed on leads. Buy a ticket at either garden, cash or card accepted, or book in advance online.
You can also visit the fabulous Brede Steam Giants which are located at the end of Kristina's garden, so you can make a day of it!
Please do come along and support the NGS who donate their countrywide proceeds to a wide range of fantastic charities.
