This garden was designed for a client who wanted to be surrounded by her favourite plants in her garden, in a full and exuberant way.

I designed a scheme to replace the existing lawn and patio with a series of curvaceous flower beds. Between the beds are lawn paths and a gravel pathway leading to the back door from the side access and shed. Planting consists of tall perennials and billowing grasses with  some well placed shrubs for structure.

Visitors to the garden will be enticed to explore the paths winding round the garden, leading to a hidden clearing and a bench, where you can pause and enjoy the rustle of the grasses and buzzing of the bees all around you.
