This private garden, lovingly created and nurtured over the past decade by Kristina Clode, is a personal sanctuary full of character and botanical interest. Brimming with interesting and unusual plant and tree species, it reflects Kristina's deep passion for plants whilst balancing the need for a family garden.

As you enter the garden a perennial wildflower meadow with fruit trees welcomes you alongside a wildlife pond. Loosely planted borders soften the space, while a small formal parterre with brick paths offers a charming contrast in structure and style.

To the side, a fire-circle of sleeper seating surrounds a fire bowl, encircled by bold, ‘hot-coloured’ perennials and maturing trees—creating a striking and sociable focal point.

The rear garden is inspired by Mediterranean planting, with terraced beds that lead to a hidden sun terrace. A beautiful wisteria-clad pergola shelters a shaded patio area, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation.

The garden also features a productive area includes a fruit cage, vegetable beds, a greenhouse, and a solar dome planted with exotic species. Throughout the space, children’s play areas have been subtly woven into the design, ensuring the garden is a true haven for the whole family to enjoy.

This garden is regularly open for the National Garden Scheme. It has also been featured in 'Garden Answers Magazine' Nov 2019 and 'Homes & Gardens Magazine' Nov 2018.
