Sedlescombe School Sensory Garden wins Sussex Heritage Trust Award!

So proud to say that Sedlescombe Primary School garden has won the Sussex Heritage Trust Landscape and Gardens Award 2022! A drought tolerant gravel garden designed for free by myself and built almost entirely by volunteers. Big thanks to everyone involved in the project AG Landscapes & Gardens, Simon Lawrence and all the parents, teachers and the pupils themselves who helped to plant the garden.

It is wonderful to have this voluntary, low budget school garden recognised for its design, biodiversity and environmental contribution. It's now a multi-award winner having also won the 'Judges Award' and 'Design for the Environment' at the Society of Garden Designers Awards 2021.
